Hosea 14:1-4

14 O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
2 Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
There are times when we fall away from God's grace. We may find ourselves in a place where
we feel distant from God. Maybe we have sinned, maybe we have not read God's Word or prayed
like we should have - whatever brought you to the fallen situation don't allow yourself to stay there.
God is always gracious and merciful. He is waiting to receive you back into His loving arms. The words
you can take to God can simply be God forgive me. God will take away all your iniquity. He is a God of
love.
Father, I thank you for your loving kindness. Thank you that when we fall and error, you are waiting to
receive us back into your loving arms. Thank you that we don't have to hide anything from you and that
you understand our short comings. You are a God who is willing to strengthen us and help us to overcome
our weaknesses.
